Here’s a complete description of how we clean your windows every time. We start by putting a small ID mark on all the screens if it is our first time out. Then we hand wash both sides of your screens with a soft bristle brush using biodegradable soap if you request your screens to be cleaned. We put the screens aside to dry. We then start cleaning the outside of your windows first, using a soft strip washer and a professional window cleaning solution. This window cleaning solution will not only make your windows literally sparkle, but it will also form an anti-static seal on your glass warding off most dust and debri from smog and local traffic. Often, we will use a blade scraper to get off any minor paint overspray, bug marks, sap, etc.
After thoroughly wetting the window again with our strip washer, we’ll squeegee the solution off, and then using surgical towels, dry around the window pane where water collects. If need be, we will whip out a fine piece of steel wool for touch-up. After all the outside windows are done, we’ll move inside and repeat the process. When we’re inside, we’ll clean the tracks and window sills as needed. We then replace all of the window screens and report to you if any of them are in need of repair from age or neglect.
